An Alien Inside

Don't get me wrong, I love the feeling of my son wiggling around inside me. However, I will say from the 'new mommy' perspective...IT IS SO WEIRD!!!! I've no words to describe the feeling when someone (the size of a large banana-I'm told) is doing loops in my belly. I am starting to believe that we will not have a baby who takes after his father. Brad was a quiet infant who didn't even cry when his finger was slammed into a door and broken as a toddler. I think perhaps our little Heath may have too much Heath in him! He sits quietly while we are at home watching a movie or talking, but as soon as we get to church and Pastor Greg begins the message, He is one BIG distraction. He also has to wait until I'm almost asleep before beginning baby tae kwon do in my stomach. Well, at least he lets me know when he's hungry, or full. I am growing daily. My belly is stretching to the limits (and I'm only halfway!).

But we are healthy and happy. I can't ask for more than that!

Just wait till you can identify which part of him is sitting where. Tip from the sis... Lake really got active after cold drinks (especially if I gulped them down) and really love to move around at night. He still is somewhat of a night owl like his dad.

ah, i remember those days! i love having a pregnant friend and reading the posts about it. i really miss being pregnant (it was a very good pregnancy for me, praise the Lord), but i LOVE having chloe out here!

i agree with leah c...it's even more wild when you can tell which part is where. people ask you how you know, you just know. that's when it starts. you just know things about your baby. i love it. oh, and lots of babies get active at night. i read that somewhere and it's true of chloe before and after birth. i've also heard and read that boys are a lot more active than girls. so, good luck with that. : )

does he have hickups all the time?? ;)
